We are proud to announce that Illinois Grand Master

Terry L. Seward became a Sciot. We thank him for

supporting Sciotry in Illinois.

 

Hurricane Sandy Relief

The Supreme Pyramid at its annual sessions held in Chicago moved to donate

the sum of $3,000 to the Grand Lodge of New Jersey in support of its disaster relief.

 
Illinois Pyramid #1

Many years ago and through the efforts of several dedicated Sciots from Sciots Tract #11, an effort was made to bring Sciotry from California into the great State of Illinois. From those efforts we ended up with several Sciots in Illinois as dues paying members of Sciots Tract #11 but were separated by thousands of miles and became inactive.

During the spring and summer months of 2001, a prime goal of the Membership Chairman was to recontact those forgotten Sciots within Illinois and finish the job of making Illinois Pyramid #1.

Through the efforts of a few wonderful Illinois Masons and Sciots the Membership Chairman traveled to Chicago in September 2002 and was honored to meet with James E. Durbin, the Grand Master of Illinois. The Sciot history and objectives were presented to the Grand Master who was supportive of our cause.
